About Stuart Coldwell, proprietor of the company
Stuart has been teaching how to play musical instruments for over 50 years, to students from the ages of 5 to 75. Some trainees he had started with at the beginning have progressed to a high standard and some taking their final highest grade.
Stuart graduated from the Manchester Royal College of Music (now known as the Royal Northern College of Music), gaining teaching and performing diplomas. He worked as a freelance flautist and has played with the Halle Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. He has also played in various groups playing piano/keyboard for dances, weddings, anniversaries and other special events. After graduating from music college, Stuart went to Bretton Hall Teacher Training College to gain a teaching diploma and this has enabled him to teach in schools and colleges.
